eBay sellers are reporting that the Sell Your Item form pops up with a warning informing the seller when their shipping and handling charges exceed the average amount for the category they are listing in – regardless of what that item may be or its weight relative to the other items in that category.

In case you wish to ”regift” some of your Christmas presents or sell stuff that your new loot has replaced, eBay is offering a 10 cent listing day tomorrow, 27 Dec 07 for all fixed price and auction style listings on the US and Canada sites regardless of the opening bid amount.
This is a good time to remind you of a tip we posted earlier. As eBay always seems to provide only a day’s warning when they offer these specials, it’s a good idea to have a bunch of auctions “in the bag” and ready to go for such occasions. I usually have a bunch of goodies that aren’t the best selling items ready with photos, templates, descriptions, and shipping costs calculated for just such eBay listing sales. If they don’t sell – I’m only out the 10 cents it cost to list – not the normal listing fee amount.
