Encourage Repeat eBay Customers with Coupons

Everybody loves coupons.  Retailers and manufacturers offer coupons to thank their customers and encourage repeat business.  You can do the same thing with your eBay business.  Spend a little quality time with your favorite word processing or graphics program to create and print a coupon you can include with each shipment.


These coupons could be redeemed on their next purchase from you for:

  • Free or discounted shipping,
  • A percentage off of the final bid price, or
  • A flat discount off the final bid price (e.g., $5.00 off). 

Some things to consider:

  • Include your user name on the coupon and the URL for your AuctionLink gallery or your eBay “About Me” page.
  • Ensure your coupon expresses your appreciation for the customer’s purchase.
  • Include a reasonable expiration date.
  • Your signature personalizes the experience and deters fraud.
