I’ve always thought that Half.com was the easiest venue on which to sell online. I don’t need to worry about auction pictures, listing templates, handling non-paying bidders, templates, listing fees, or relisting items that don’t sell. I just type in the the ISBN or UPC code, enter a short description, select the item’s condition and set my price. That’s it until it sells. Packing and shipping require the most effort. Now it takes less effort now that Half.com has integrated PayPal shipping.
I like using PayPal shipping because it’s fast and efficient especially when I’m mailing something I sold on eBay. That’s because PayPal shipping would automatically fill-in the recipients name and address. I just need to enter the parcel weight, the package type and shipping method, and hit print to get my shipping label in a jiffy.
It always frustrated me that I had to type in or cut and paste the buyer’s information when the transaction occured on Half.com. After all, Half.com and PayPal are both owned by eBay! Thankfully, eBay finally got around to integrating this service. Although it seems like a small improvement, it actually saves a significant amount of time and effort. Thanks eBay!
With Half.com’s Online Shipping, you can now print U.S. Postal Service and UPS shipping labels directly through PayPal! Printing shipping labels is FREE – you just pay the actual cost of shipping conveniently through your PayPal account.
When you use PayPal shipping labels, you also get:
- Online Tracking. You - and your buyer - can track the shipment’s status directly in My Account and PayPal.
- Pre-Filled Label Addresses. Buyer and seller addresses are automatically filled in by eBay.
How to print a shipping label
