As I get ready to start the last quarter of my master’s degree program, I’m reminded that this is the time to list any college-level textbooks that you have sitting around the house. I do all my my textbook shopping on Half.com and eBay and turn around and sell the ones I’m not interested in keeping as soon as I’m done with them.

Textbooks retain their value pretty well provided they are the most current edition. You can do a quick search by title on Amazon or Half.com to see what is the current edition and the going prices for used books. I always set my my selling price on Half.com to one of the three lowest prices for my book’s condition. This ensures that my book is listed on the first results page.

Here’s my article on selling books on Half.com
