Of the limited resources eBay users have to remove negative feedback, the Mutual Feedback Withdrawal program is probably the least cumbersome.  This program is for eBay users who have both left a negative feedback for each other and who later resolve their differences and agree to retract the feedback they left for each other.

To use the Mutual Feedback Withdrawal program, both users must log-in to eBay’s website and enter the appropriate auction number on the feedback withdrawal form.  This form is difficult to find but is located at http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?MFWRequest.  Once both the buyer and the seller have completed the form, it is submitted to the auction site for resolution.

According to eBay’s Help Pages, you can only request Mutual Feedback Withdrawal once for each feedback rating, so don’t start the process until both you and your trading partner have already agreed to have the feedback rating removed.  You must initiate the withdrawal request within 30-days of either member leaving feedback or within 90-days of the transaction end date, which ever is later.

Upon approval by eBay, the negative feedback scores are simultaneously removed from each parties ratings.  The comments, however, remain and a notice is posted at the top of each user’s feedback summary annotating how many feedback ratings have been mutually withdrawn.

      Hi,
Both seller and buyer(me) agreed to mutually withdrawn our feed backs on an item #110184031874, but because I just realised that we can do that, it is a bit longer then 30 days since we left our comments. Is it steel O`k to do it?
      Kind regards
      Eleanor
